A Geyser Filled Event at Yellowstone National Park
The thought of Yellowstone National Park as an Event is sort of confusing.  It should feel better than that.  Or seems like you’d want more from that? and/or how can a place be an event.  But after walking around, seeing animals that you never see anywhere else, hills, valleys and random water-looking splashes pop and stream out of the ground let me tell you, its an event.  You go there looking to be entertained, enlightened, and wow’d!  I was wow’d at the very site of any hole spewing water-like substances out of the ground.  Then the Color that would be growing on the ground was so fascinating.  I would go to say that what wasn’t fascinating was the smell.  It was as if millions of eggs the size of dinosaurs were rotting all over the place.  And with each intake of breath you think “is this the last breath I’ll ever take?”
Anyway, it was a nice day for a walk, of course as a photographer, I wished that the sky was more dramatic, but when you only have a day to get it, you’ll take what you can get.  Hope you enjoy it. High-res

A Van Down by The River
Do you think this elk is a motivational speaker like Matt Foley?  Perhaps he tries to inspire other Elk, hey, its possible.  They communicate with each other, somehow.  Think this elk has what elk calls a van?  think its down by the river?  I think so.  Why not?  Chris Farley made this famous, maybe this elk is making that famous.  Or maybe he’s just getting a quick bite to eat on this lovely afternoon?  I don’t think you can see it in this picture but there was another elk laying there, taking a nap.  I could use a nap.
Anyway, this was in Yellowstone National Park.  Must go and check it out sometime but for now check out my gallery called Yellowstone National Park, that works too. High-res

    There’s No Crying in Baseball
I gotta say I love that line in that movie.  Ole Tommy Hanks still got it, certainly had it.  I believe I have to make the title known of that movie. And that movie was “A League of their Own”.  Legals, gotta love em.  This picture was done with a tweaking in Photoshop and a Tweaking with Magic, I also had to shake my magic ball a couple times to make a decision on how to process it.  I hope it came out just alright for you fine folk.  This was taken on the way to Yellowstone National Park.  I just love reflecting mountains in any body of water, but for some reason that body of water being a river really made the picture “lead” to the mountain and have more dynamic interest.  What do you guys think? High-res

    Ireland and Washington State
This is a shot taken in Ireland at the Cliffs of Moher.  The place was so serene and … lack of words … Authentic.  They seem to really care about the environment and not over done the way it would be here in America full of theme parks, advertisements and casinos hangin all over the cliffs.  It was all natural and they kept it that way.  Furthermore they were so passionate about the cliffs that just a visitors view is enough for them.  Case in point: we were there on a very foggy day and naturally we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to see the cliffs, so she said, “oh, just come back tomorrow you won’t have to pay the fee, but feel free to look around as much as you can today” So that was pretty awesome.. The gallery Worlds Apart shows images from the both days we were there and throughout the other galleries..  so have a look around
On My Way to Washington State back in August
On the way we hiked through the Bad Lands, Black Hills Forest, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, Olympic national Park and lastly a little of Mount Rainier.  It was a busy but a memory card filled of photos-ova-time.  Soon to be for your viewing pleasure… at least I hope. High-res
