This is an interesting band hot of the presses.  Sure they are getting more reviews these days and a bit more popular.  But their unique sound and delicate ways of influencing their words really inspire me during the moments I need Muse the most.  Are you guys digging Civil Wars?

    You May Wonder

It may have occurred to you that when you click on one of my images it sends you to my Etsy Page.  Yes, I do prints of my images- you can pretty much custom any image of any kind in any way you see fit… matte, lustre, canvas, gold beveled, the ways and the style go on.  I have a Professional Printing place called Millers Lab waiting for my beckoned call.  So don’t be bashful send me a note, order a print off Etsy, you could be holding a RDphoto print in your hand by the weeks end!

    So Why?

Why am I promoting? well a boys got to eat.  So that’s the main reason… Plus its what all the cool kids are doing now.

A Geyser Filled Event at Yellowstone National Park
The thought of Yellowstone National Park as an Event is sort of confusing.  It should feel better than that.  Or seems like you’d want more from that? and/or how can a place be an event.  But after walking around, seeing animals that you never see anywhere else, hills, valleys and random water-looking splashes pop and stream out of the ground let me tell you, its an event.  You go there looking to be entertained, enlightened, and wow’d!  I was wow’d at the very site of any hole spewing water-like substances out of the ground.  Then the Color that would be growing on the ground was so fascinating.  I would go to say that what wasn’t fascinating was the smell.  It was as if millions of eggs the size of dinosaurs were rotting all over the place.  And with each intake of breath you think “is this the last breath I’ll ever take?”
Anyway, it was a nice day for a walk, of course as a photographer, I wished that the sky was more dramatic, but when you only have a day to get it, you’ll take what you can get.  Hope you enjoy it. High-res

The Antlers… Who else is into this band? I love the smooth ways of their instruments strumming all together to promote a voice that is just another sound within the rain.

Do People Still Dig the Electric Slide?
I don’t think I’d be doing the Electric Slide here at the National Concert.  But I would be sliding around like its my business.  And let me just tell ya, business is good on the eve of this concert.  If you haven’t heard of the National yet, well you should.  Of course no hardcore photog gear was allowed into this venue, so I rocked my iPhone and quite literally rocked it too!  One of the best concerts I’ve been to in a long time.  And it wasn’t because of the flashy, smash, bang electronics, it was because of plain and simple the Music alone was amazing!  Have you found now, concerts aren’t becoming about the music anymore, it seems to be about something so much more different, not bad, but different.  Its not JUST dudes and instruments sounding amazing anymore, its a Show.  Almost like a lightening show with flames and things that turn and make our eyes pop and oh yea, the music is pretty good too…. hmmm, I don’t know—- What do you think? High-res
