I don’t believe beauty can be destroyed nor do I think it should be attempted but in a world that seems to find its own good in things that often destroys things, beauty now has to become more open minded. Like in wars, forest fires, drugs, etc scary.
This is not your typical “beauty” composite and I was just playing around seeing what ideas were gonna perk up..
hope all is having a Wonderful Day

Just ask any Rapper and they will tell you that what they sing about is often times not what their lifestyle is like or who they are, they’ll tell you that its all about the “image” … image? I thought it was about the music. The melody, the carefully alignment of words and instruments. At least that is what I love about music. The old school Bright Eyes music from his Teenage Years was inspiration for my adult-hood. How is that possible? How can this “Kid” reach into this realm of maturity and thought that can gather information and enlightenment well beyond his years? I don’t know, but its a great example regarding how what may be inspirational to you can be also to any number of people and that there are No Limits to what you can accomplish.
Music for me is a gateway to a much needed place that provides me with a certain peace and serenity that I need Daily, or else I think I’ll go nutso. Anyway you can check out my “Freedom Through Music” gallery on the link in blue. There are more photos for that Gallery Coming, they are sitting in my “to be processed” folder in lightroom numbering now close to 3,000… I”m starting to feel like a profession photog as I’m becoming more and more backed up on my photo processing … there is just not enough hours in the day I tell ya

The path is short “they say” to total enlightenment, contentment, and complete ability to have a life worth smiling about. I think it starts with identifying some true emotions and aspirations. But to identify these we have to break things down. What are we all about? A common icebreaker is list three words that describe you. I say list three words that identifies you. Words that are adjectives that describes what you do every day, day in and day out that brings you that smile of total contentment. For me, you guessed it, is Color, Music and Movement. Not descriptive words that describe me like loving, caring blah blah blah that we can never completely live up to as we are all fallen short of being perfect. So do yourselves a favor and list your identifiers in the comments below. Think longer than three seconds about it too! ha.
This picture was chosen for this post because I believe it shows those three identifiers. Color in the vastness of the color presented, Music in the way that it flows up to the sky- yea, I’m stretching it there. And lastly Movement, cause our eyes move all around the photo. Perhaps this is why I like this picture a lot?

I have been on Twitter now for about 4 months… You can follow the dream here: http://twitter.com/James_A_B. This will allow you to see all sorts of amazing things!
I am also on Google+ as well… See the links below or simply click on them. I’ll do these social networking thing-a-ma-bobs, and see what happens. Trying to market more. I mean the price is right so why not?
This Photo is from Glacier National Park. It was a perfect day for photo taking. Of course this picture was “doctored” a tiny bit. Just to make it slightly warmer.

Do you think this elk is a motivational speaker like Matt Foley? Perhaps he tries to inspire other Elk, hey, its possible. They communicate with each other, somehow. Think this elk has what elk calls a van? think its down by the river? I think so. Why not? Chris Farley made this famous, maybe this elk is making that famous. Or maybe he’s just getting a quick bite to eat on this lovely afternoon? I don’t think you can see it in this picture but there was another elk laying there, taking a nap. I could use a nap.
Anyway, this was in Yellowstone National Park. Must go and check it out sometime but for now check out my gallery called Yellowstone National Park, that works too.

Whether you’re “Rocky” fans or not you still have heard in one form or another “Yo Adrian”. And if you know the “I did it” part then you’re just ahead of the game. This is still significant to show his motivation and drive… As they speak of in the movie, his Heart. Rocky Had it. Heart. Sometimes I lack the Heart to climb a mountain. Sometimes I lack the Heart to show people the love they deserve. Sometimes I lack the drive and the motivation to get up in the morning. But being inspired is sometimes one of the easiest things to attain. Read a quote, go outside, watch Rocky, inspiration can come by the bushels. All you gotta do is look for it, and when you see it or hear it- Accept it and apply it, and scream “Yo Adrian- I DID IT!!!” well maybe not Adrian cause that would be kinda weird. But whatever floats your boat. Heck I’ll be saying it… It floats my boat.
Well this was taken in the Badlands National Park. I thought to go a little Ansel Adams on ya and burn the sucker of all its edges even the fine edges within the photo. Also a Cool software allowed me to bring in a lot of texture to the foreground along with the background so the details really “pop” there’s that word again – pop. Read my earlier post to know what I’m talking about.

On a walk one evening with Cait. We were cruising along trying to find something cool to take pictures of then all of a sudden we fell upon this Huge Band playing Loud that night. I love falling upon such things as that. Where you don’t think anything spectacular is going to happen and it wouldn’t have happened if we had stayed inside and watched “Nightline News” and gotten depressed with the state of this World.
But we decided to get up and see what the world had to throw at us this night. In fact we were watching these fine folk play and then all of a sudden a storm came in and they had to pack up quick which also meant that I too had to pack up quick cause expensive lenses do not like rain. And even though my site is named Raining Dreams- rain is not our friend to this type of equipment. But nonetheless it was fun and adventurous!
My point is staying inside waiting for something great to happen in your life is just not going to happen. Waiting inside for some marvelous adventure – is like sitting on your couch watching an exercise channel hoping to lose wait. Waiting inside for that guy or girl to notice you – just doesn’t work. Waiting inside for that perfect job or awesome promotion – well… Good Luck.

This would easily go into the category of “Accidental Photos” I completely was frustrated that as I was shooting this picture a big ole loud truck came zooming by (no it wasn’t a “zoom-zoom” car). Then when I got to my computer to process it. To my surprise it was stinkin’ awesome! I also really like the fire-cracking looking grass lining the road into the distance along with the lights of the car of course. This was taken late in the evening so it took some finesse in making it the way I wanted.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy it. No Interesting thoughts of the day. Sorry. Just a photo shot today.

I’m sure like all of you have seen when you go into a store, bank, coffee shop etc and glance at what people are doing on their phones or computers you’ll see the infamous Facebook Heading Logo at the top of their screen. Now-a-days it has gotten to the point where I don’t think anything of it, other than that I think it’s funny how they are using company time to update and read useless status’ that seem to numb our minds from any challenging thought. Perhaps they are just on a “mental break” or perhaps this is their hundredth mental break of the day and its only 10:30 A.M. Regardless of the matter or reason they have the right to do what they want in their Own Time, but on company time? that’s just sad.
In case you fine folks are making fun of me or snickering at the fact that I used the word Dumberist in my title, it just makes me wonder. If we spend (not all) but most of our extra time on things like facebook, in 20 to 30 years will we not be dumber than our ancestors 100 years ago that would dive into books and libraries? Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m no book worm but I find it useful to find something I’m interested in and attack it. Get to know every little thing about it until one day I either A: get sick of it or B: know enough about it to be decent or good at whatever it is I’m learning or C: just be content with the information I have on it and go on to the next thing.
Facebook is useful- but is it popularity to have 1,200 friends yet Always be Alone? is it “Funny” to post a status update that you’re drinking Mountain Dew and it almost spilled on your cat? or is it even “Cool” to update your friends that you stayed up late playing Call of Duty so your calling into work to sleep in? (then most likely get fired since employers are now checking these things periodically). Yea, I guess it is funny and I guess it is cool in some sense I just think its getting way out of hand and its making us Dumb. I just saw an advertisement that there is now a phone that actually has a Facebook Button on the keyboard for quick access to it. The Line has Been Drawn My Friends. Let’s hope it doesn’t go any further than that.
Have fun and See Ya on Facebook!
Oh right! the photo! well isn’t that a fancy baby sunflower? I thought so, I loved it and even printed it out myself. But the sky is what really blows my mind. Showing the delicateness of the flower and then the robust sky and the huge but in the pic tiny tree in the background. Awe peaceful serenity. This was done on an evening in September that got me so excited to come home and play around with the processing. I must say myself it turned out pretty good.
Hang on tight while we grab the next page
