This is an interesting band hot of the presses. Sure they are getting more reviews these days and a bit more popular. But their unique sound and delicate ways of influencing their words really inspire me during the moments I need Muse the most. Are you guys digging Civil Wars?

Just ask any Rapper and they will tell you that what they sing about is often times not what their lifestyle is like or who they are, they’ll tell you that its all about the “image” … image? I thought it was about the music. The melody, the carefully alignment of words and instruments. At least that is what I love about music. The old school Bright Eyes music from his Teenage Years was inspiration for my adult-hood. How is that possible? How can this “Kid” reach into this realm of maturity and thought that can gather information and enlightenment well beyond his years? I don’t know, but its a great example regarding how what may be inspirational to you can be also to any number of people and that there are No Limits to what you can accomplish.
Music for me is a gateway to a much needed place that provides me with a certain peace and serenity that I need Daily, or else I think I’ll go nutso. Anyway you can check out my “Freedom Through Music” gallery on the link in blue. There are more photos for that Gallery Coming, they are sitting in my “to be processed” folder in lightroom numbering now close to 3,000… I”m starting to feel like a profession photog as I’m becoming more and more backed up on my photo processing … there is just not enough hours in the day I tell ya

The Antlers… Who else is into this band? I love the smooth ways of their instruments strumming all together to promote a voice that is just another sound within the rain.

I don’t think I’d be doing the Electric Slide here at the National Concert. But I would be sliding around like its my business. And let me just tell ya, business is good on the eve of this concert. If you haven’t heard of the National yet, well you should. Of course no hardcore photog gear was allowed into this venue, so I rocked my iPhone and quite literally rocked it too! One of the best concerts I’ve been to in a long time. And it wasn’t because of the flashy, smash, bang electronics, it was because of plain and simple the Music alone was amazing! Have you found now, concerts aren’t becoming about the music anymore, it seems to be about something so much more different, not bad, but different. Its not JUST dudes and instruments sounding amazing anymore, its a Show. Almost like a lightening show with flames and things that turn and make our eyes pop and oh yea, the music is pretty good too…. hmmm, I don’t know—- What do you think?

The path is short “they say” to total enlightenment, contentment, and complete ability to have a life worth smiling about. I think it starts with identifying some true emotions and aspirations. But to identify these we have to break things down. What are we all about? A common icebreaker is list three words that describe you. I say list three words that identifies you. Words that are adjectives that describes what you do every day, day in and day out that brings you that smile of total contentment. For me, you guessed it, is Color, Music and Movement. Not descriptive words that describe me like loving, caring blah blah blah that we can never completely live up to as we are all fallen short of being perfect. So do yourselves a favor and list your identifiers in the comments below. Think longer than three seconds about it too! ha.
This picture was chosen for this post because I believe it shows those three identifiers. Color in the vastness of the color presented, Music in the way that it flows up to the sky- yea, I’m stretching it there. And lastly Movement, cause our eyes move all around the photo. Perhaps this is why I like this picture a lot?

Crazy how the really nice hotels give you such an ordeal with the internet with either A: purchasing options, B: Password Codes longer than the Obama Care Document or C: it frankly just doesn’t work. But somehow the Super 8 Motel seems to have it run flawlessly without any headache. Open the computer and Bam fast speed internet- thats the way it should be. I’m sure someone is hacking into my computer right now but at least I’m able to blog this post.
So I’m now in Montana at the Glacier National Park taking some pictures that will soothe the soul. Sorry for the continual delay due to the internet complications (takes a bunch of bandwidth to upload these images) but more daily photo posts will be posted once internet is more readily available I’m guessing by Wednesday.
Thanks for your patience.

The Spot a local up-state NY coffee shop that provides fresh brewed coffee by the minute, lattes that will knock your socks off and an environment that would inspire Beethoven. Its gorgeous interior invites all forms of lively-hood into the mix. Not too loud, not too quiet, nice whisper of people roaming around or going on about a recent break up or the next exam in class. Its wonderful, and here’s and HDR to show that wonderful all-around coffee shop…
The fiery contrast and the huge array of colour is suppose to represent the informality of the shop. The diversity and the structure of The Spot Coffee House is what makes this shop stand out among the rest. Come and enjoy a latte, you’ll probably see me there mixin around some photos.
