The First Blog Post About a Panoramic Shot
These look so cool big, on a medium that you can actually see the entire picture.  I don’t have that medium, clearly.   This image is actually somewhere near 344MB for ONE image, usually an image – if you don’t know – at high resolution is 5 to 8MB.  So I had to cut this down just to get it in here.  If you were to print it all the details would be there, clear, sharp, and the depth of field would be so intense that you’d feel you’re actually there, a typical panorama size is 20 x 60 or 1 x 3 in some shape or form or in this case size.
So this was at the Badlands National Park. This was the shot I took that I almost fell off the cliff on.  I was swinging the camera around on the tripod and of course I was swinging with it forgetting that I was on the edge of the cliff so I can get some of the foreground cut out from the shot.   Down I would’ve went and yelled GERONIMOOOOO!! But just at the last moment God and or His angels came and grabbed my foot and stuck it firmly in the ground and held my balance.  Thank You.  Cause I should have fallen 300 feet to my presumable death. High-res
