Hello! my name is James I’m a 29 year old, self-taught photographer with a passion for creating beautiful images inspired by everything around me. My eyes are always scanning my surroundings for meaning and beauty, it could be that old crack in the building, a beautiful bride, a sunset that could melt your eyes, its everywhere.  And once we realize that we have captured something timeless we have finally experience truth in love.   I’ve always been captivated by light, color, textures and shapes the list could go on forever but it wasn’t till recently when I realized what I was suppose to do with all that passion.

From the time I was very young, I’ve always been a crafty lil-right-brained kinda guy, fascinated by art.  Creating what my mother would say is a masterpiece but was not much better than a stick figure drawn by a four year old.  For years I searched for the right way to express myself creatively but could never find the perfect fit. I’ve dabbled in music, painting, sketching, wood crafting/making, dance… the list goes on and on. When I finally gave photography a try at the age of 26, I knew I had found my true passion.  It didn’t happen right away, but after 3 years of fiddling around with settings and functions and a mix of good and crappy photos a spark lit up within me that I have never felt before and I couldn’t stop!  From there it was like an addictive drug to go out and search for all that is meaningful and beautiful all in one image.  I haven’t stopped learning and opening the possibilities found on photoshop, compositing, editing, basically using the computer as my digital darkroom.  I’ve always been so enchanted by the beauty and wonder of our natural world. There’s nothing I love more than being outside and finding something ordinary that in that moment of the perfect light and intricate angle is so Extraordinary!

Nothing thrills me more when an image I create has an impact on someone else. It’s my hope that my work will inspire you to accomplish all that you want in this life.  For your dreams never to die and to never be numbered but to be so numerous that counting them would be a daunting task.  As I am not in particularly special, learned from the beautiful world of photographers all around us, information found in books and the internet I crafted this talent as a photographer and editor.  As I can do this, you too can accomplish your wills and goals as long as you give your time, sweat and tears to it.  Our world is full of such beauty and it is my ultimate pleasure to share it with you. Because Frankly, Sometimes photography can take us where Words can’t.
